Slow Dazzle is a series of small-scale assemblage works comprising hand woven tapestry, painting, and found objects. This playful body of work has been developed over the last two years since undertaking a residency at the Australian Tapestry Workshop in April 2024.

Working between painting and textiles, Jackson McLaren (b. 1991, Warrnambool, Victoria) explores the possibilities of abstraction. Jackson graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Painting) in 2021, and Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) in 2022, both from the Victorian College of the Arts.
