To Clear A Path Forward is a solo exhibition of new paintings and drawings by Adrian De Vries with an accompanying text by David Thomas.
Adrian De Vries is an artist working on unceded Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Country (Melbourne). He approaches abstract painting with a historical reverence and a playful sensibility, producing experimental paintings and installations. Since 2016, Adrian has regularly participated in various group and solo exhibitions throughout Australia and has completed a residency in Timkarik (Queenstown) Tasmania. Adrian graduated from RMIT University in 2018, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (First Class Honours).
